At Alted Engineering, we recently completed the fabrication of five custom rain heads and three scupper covers for Ohlson and Whitelaw, all crafted from 3mm aluminium and powder coated in flax pod.
The sleek, dark finish of the flax pod powder coating complements the modern architectural design, enhancing the building's aesthetics while delivering functionality.
These rain heads and scupper covers were designed for durability and precision, ensuring optimal water management for the building. Aluminium was selected for its lightweight yet robust nature, perfect for handling New Zealand’s varying weather conditions while offering a long-lasting, rust-resistant solution.
Working on projects like these, we collaborate closely with architects and builders to meet both structural and design requirements. In this case, our client was extremely pleased with the outcome, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.
